Many animal species in Zimbabwe are acutely threatened with extinction due to poaching and the destruction of nature. As a volunteer, you can help to preserve these rare animals! The everyday life of many South Africans is influenced by poverty, malnutrition, lack of the access to medical care and education, violence and drug or alcohol abuse. As a volunteer you will support the non-profit organization, that supports people from socially difficult backgrounds and aims to improve their living conditions and opportunities.

Tourism is an important source of income for people in Zanzibar. Overall women and people in rural areas have so far been little involved in tourism and therefore cannot benefit financially from it. Volunteers at the Cultural Art Center help local artists develop and market sustainable products.
