Do you want to actively do something against the plastic flood? We are looking for committed volunteers for an innovative project that recycles hard plastic and works closely with local organizations and individuals. As a volunteer, you primarily support in the areas of marketing, communication, administration, and in the development of materials for workshops and awareness-building.

As part of the communications and administration team for NGOs in Tanzania, you volunteer to support partner organizations in areas like human rights, social work, mental health, economic development, and combating gender-based violence. Your tasks include report writing, social media management, fundraising, material development, and administrative support.

Often, women and children are denied essential basic rights. As a volunteer or unpaid intern with a non-profit organization in Tanzania, you can stand up for them! The areas of activity here include empowering women in various fields such as education or health. You can also get involved in legal counseling.

In Zanzibar, Tanzania, you can teach at various schools. You will do your volunteer work at public and private schools, for example. Due to a shortage of teachers, your support is needed. There is also the opportunity to work at a school for deaf children. You will support the students and give them better prospects for the future.

Lutindi Mental Hospital is a private mental health facility in the scenic Usambara Mountains of Tanzania. Most patients are from the big cities and are addicted to alcohol or illegal drugs, or have schizophrenia or psychosis. Much emphasis is placed on occupational therapy in a rural setting that differs as much as possible from the big city.
