Tourism is an important source of income for people in Zanzibar. Overall women and people in rural areas have so far been little involved in tourism and therefore cannot benefit financially from it. Volunteers at the Cultural Art Center help local artists develop and market sustainable products.

Cet organisme propose deux missions différentes ayant pour but de venir en aide aux communautés rurales en Tanzanie. Parfait pour vivre une experience en immersion et découvrir la culture de la Tanzanie, tout en soutenant la communauté Maasaï.

The mostly single women and mothers in our projects come from difficult living conditions characterised by domestic violence and stigmatisation by Tanzanian society due to HIV/AIDS. We support the women with various initiatives so that they can find their way back to an independent and self-reliant life.

Tu fais partie d’un projet professionnel de recherche de terrain dans la région du lac Eyasi (Tanzanie), visant à développer des solutions aux conflits entre humains et prédateurs. L’accent est mis sur les hyènes, mais aussi sur les léopards et chacals. Tu collectes des données avec des pièges photo et le pistage, tout en découvrant le travail d’une ONG sur le terrain.

With us, you have the opportunity to support a project for children and young adults with various impairments. Unfortunately, these people still face many challenges in Tanzanian society: stigmatization and prejudices are omnipresent and government support is insufficient. A large number of disabled children and young adults are not adequately cared for. We want to change that!

Transform the lives of children and adolescents with mental and physical disabilities. With an unpaid volunteering position or internship, you'll help them improve their quality of life and gain access to education and therapeutic support. Get involved in special education, curative education, physiotherapy, or occupational therapy and make a meaningful contribution.

Are you interested in agriculture as well as agricultural production and development? In the Kilacha training center, we can arrange volunteer work and internships in the areas of agriculture, food technology and biology.

Staff shortages make school and kindergarten work very difficult for educators in Tanzania. Through your volunteer work in a kindergarten, you can support the local teams. You will help prepare work materials, supervise homework, or simply spend time with the children. In this way, you will help relieve the burden on the local system.

Tu habiteras dans un camp confortable avec d’autres volontaires dans la forêt tropicale de Jozani. Des vélos sont à ta disposition pour les activités liées à la protection des reptiles indigènes et des singes colobes rouges endémiques, la plantation de mangroves, le travail avec une coopérative agricole, des cours de natation pour les enfants, la culture des algues et l'éducation environnementale.
