The people living here have no opportunity to participate in gardening activities because most of them live in apartment blocks between four and ten stories high and have no access to green spaces. However, the desire for such spaces is great, which is why this project was launched to create a community garden that everyone can enjoy and take part in.

This program supports community development in Nou Barris, one of Barcelona’s most overlooked neighborhoods. With over 100,000 residents affected by social exclusion, volunteers contribute to initiatives that strengthen solidarity networks and community resilience while building meaningful connections and developing valuable personal and professional skills.

Available for volunteers aged 17+. Actively contribute to monitoring and protecting lions, rhinos, elephants, leopards and support community projects whilst living on a beautiful coastal reserve on the Eastern Cape!
