Online Internship Psychology India

If you want to work closely with a psychologist on her case studies, we have the right thing for you: You will work for an experienced psychologist who, after many years of working for the Indian Air Force, in schools and hospitals, opened her own broadly based private practice. This non-paid online internship focuses on developing your counseling skills. You will work on anonymized patient case studies and discuss them with the psychologist once a week. You will learn to identify problems and disorders, propose therapeutic approaches, and also consider cultural aspects of the cases. Within one month, you will deal with about 10-15 cases of varying difficulty levels.

Another assignment is possible in a psychological center in Navi Mumbai. This is run by a psychologist well-known in India, who is also known as a television psychologist and author in India.

Developmental Psychology

This area refers to the practical handling of Educational Psychology including career counseling, child psychopathology, youth development, counseling psychology, cultural psychology, and cognitive psychology (also includes assessments and support sessions, family counseling). The internship offers the opportunity to be present live at client sessions in the field of developmental psychology and to participate in accompanying training and mentoring programs. You will also be present at sessions with various professionals. Your tasks include research before the sessions, especially on speakers and their organizations, as well as dealing with COVID-19 coping strategies. You will prepare reports in the given format and contribute to a project work on a relevant topic.

Organizational Psychology:
In the Organizational Psychology internship, participants gain practical insights into areas such as recruitment, employee retention, employee evaluations, and more. You will learn about the use of psychometric instruments.

The internship includes sessions with HR managers on various HR strategies and teaches the basics of vision, mission, goals, KPIs, and KRAs. Another focus is the understanding and introduction to the application of psychometric instruments such as MBTI and 16PF in companies.
