In this animal welfare project, employees and volunteers look after street dogs. The welfare of the dogs is the top priority. The dogs are taken in, neutered and, if possible, given a new home. Sick or injured dogs are nursed back to health. As a volunteer, you support the care of the dogs and do everything you can to ensure that they are well.
In Sri Lanka, there are frequent conflicts between humans and elephants, as the elephants' habitat increasingly overlaps with local communities. The project was founded to resolve this conflict and protect the elephants. As a volunteer, you will support the team in researching and observing the elephants, thereby helping to protect these endangered animals.

In Sri Lanka, numerous dogs live on the streets. In the dog project, these street dogs are cared for, groomed, neutered, vaccinated and, if possible, placed in a new home. You will support the team in particular with the care and feeding off the dogs and you will help the often shy animals to get used to humans, e.g. by playing with them.
