An animal sanctuary on the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica treats sick, injured and orphaned animals: sloths, turtles, monkeys and other animals are cared for and treated at the facility with the aim of releasing them back into the wild. In Sri Lanka, there are frequent conflicts between humans and elephants, as the elephants' habitat increasingly overlaps with local communities. The project was founded to resolve this conflict and protect the elephants. As a volunteer, you will support the team in researching and observing the elephants, thereby helping to protect these endangered animals.
The aim of this animal-loving project is to provide a home for exotic animals that have been mistreated or abandoned. The idea is to take care of the animals so that they can be released back into the wild. It is also important to educate the public about wildlife in Hungary and that exotic animals are not pets.
