Volunteer in Italy – Animal Welfare & Cat Rescue in Rome

You will join an experienced team working tirelessly to create a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for over 260 cats—many of which have faced neglect, injury, or trauma.

What will I be doing?
You’ll begin with orientation and guidance on safe interaction and shelter best practices. From then on, your focus will be on nurturing the cats physically and emotionally.

Tasks include:

Feeding cats and preparing fresh food and water each day

Cleaning shelters, litter boxes, and communal spaces to maintain a hygienic environment

Socialising with cats—playing, cuddling, and helping rebuild trust

Assisting with general maintenance and ensuring safe, enriching habitats

Supporting promotional efforts to boost adoptions and responsible ownership
