Calling all outdoor and nature lovers! As a volunteer in the Zandvlei Nature Reserve in Cape Town, you can expect a variety of activities related to nature and environmental protection as well as landscape conservation. Your effort contribute to the preservation of a complete wetland habitat including important South African animal and plant species.

Lend a helping hand to orphaned rhinos at South Africa’s oldest dedicated rhino orphanage. Your days will be filled with bottle-feeding calves, providing essential care, and monitoring released adult rhinos in a stunning private reserve. Living alongside a team of rhino experts within a UNESCO World Heritage site, this project will help you reconnect with nature and change rhinos’ lives.

Attention horse lovers! In this project, you can immerse yourself in the daily life of a South African horse farm and ride through untouched nature. Support the farm team in their daily tasks, such as caring for and feeding the horses, and enjoy the breathtaking South African outback!

Urban farming, a growing trend in cities worldwide, brings agriculture into urban spaces. In Cape Town, you can participate through internships and volunteering with various urban farming initiatives and urban food systems.

Our Children Centers are social facilities for disadvantaged children from the poorer residential areas of Cape Town. They provide care for up to 200 children aged 0 - 7 years. You will give the children the attention they need, look after them and help with their care and education.
