
An animal sanctuary on the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica treats sick, injured and orphaned animals: sloths, turtles, monkeys and other animals are cared for and treated at the facility with the aim of releasing them back into the wild. As a volunteer, you can feed the animals at the sanctuary, maintain the enclosures and help with the reintroduction of the animals into the wild.

The goal of our field volunteer program is to contribute to sustainable development in the area of the Inner Ionian island archipelago in Greece. For this activity we monitor two things: seagrass monitoring (June to September) and Mediterannean monk seal monitoring (year round). Volunteers can participate in either activty or potentially both.

In Sri Lanka, there are frequent conflicts between humans and elephants, as the elephants' habitat increasingly overlaps with local communities. The project was founded to resolve this conflict and protect the elephants. As a volunteer, you will support the team in researching and observing the elephants, thereby helping to protect these endangered animals.
