Travel and volunteer as part of a small group of 17 to 25 year olds, in rural villages near Jinja, Uganda. It is a wonderful opportunity to experience rural Ugandan life and ideal for those ready for a challenge, and short on time. Help to improve English and/or coach sports in a local primary or secondary school as well as working on a community building/renovation project.
Experience the charm and beauty of Uganda as you volunteer to look after wild rhinos. These rhinos have been successfully reintroduced to the country after going extinct in the 1980s. After your hard work, you are rewarded with a 3 day safari to search for leopards, lions and elephants, and a cruise down the Nile to the spectacular Murchison Falls.
Travelling as part of a group you will volunteer in pairs in the rural villages surrounding Jinja, Uganda. Ideal for those ready for a challenge because you will be living like a local. There is a chance for cultural exchange whilst teaching and/or coaching sports in a local primary or secondary school. Includes 4 weeks of optional independent travel time at the end of the volunteer period.
