Like no other animal, the mustang is seen as the epitome of the American way of life: free, wild and independent. Sadly, this concept is only partially true nowadays. Apart from the roughly 15,000 mustangs still living in the wild, there are at least equally as many living in sub-standard conditions in captivity. As a volunteer, you will help protecting and rehabilitating these animals.
This project gives you the opportunity to put your energy to good use by contributing to the maintenance of a wildlife sanctuary. The sanctuary is a rescue centre for wild animals which are unable to survive in the wild due to ill-treatment, neglect or abandonment. Here they are given a home and the peace they need to recover and gather strength.
