About the kindergarten project

You will help out in a kindergarten or an international language school – or combine both. In the kindergarten, you will support children in learning through play and accompany them in their development. In the language school, you will also help with leisure activities. Good English skills are important, as English is spoken everywhere. The kindergarten is open all year round, while the language school is seasonal.

Your tasks in the project

You will support educators in looking after children, playing, singing and promoting their development. Your tasks will be based on your strengths and discussed within the team. Experience with children is an advantage but not essential. To start with, you will have a personal interview with the local manager.

Your daily routine in Hawaii

Kindergarten:
Open all year round (except during school holidays in October, December/January and March). Work 2–4 days per week, either in the morning or afternoon for approx. 3 hours.

Language school:
Takes place four times a year. Work Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. (approx. 6.75 hours per day).

Make the most of your time in Hawaii

You have weekends and public holidays off – perfect for exploring Oahu or other islands! Whether surfing at Waikiki Beach, hiking in Ho'omaluhia Botanical Garden or visiting Pearl Harbor – there is so much to discover. Trips to neighbouring islands such as Big Island, Maui or Kauai are also possible! You can also organise additional activities such as surfing lessons or hula dancing directly with us.
