
The mostly single women and mothers in our projects come from difficult living conditions characterised by domestic violence and stigmatisation by Tanzanian society due to HIV/AIDS. We support the women with various initiatives so that they can find their way back to an independent and self-reliant life.
In the refugee aid project in South Africa, you will be volunteering with a non-profit organization that helps migrants and refugees integrate into South African society. The organization's facility in Cape Town offers English lessons, legal advice, and support for refugees when dealing with authorities. Your help is welcome!
Do you have sporting experience as a player or coach, and at least two months to spare? ‘Handball as a tool for social change’ focuses on developing handball in Kenya. At the same time, the project provides a platform for young people for personal development. In addition to handball, other sports are also in focus, depending on the community.
