Calling all outdoor and nature lovers! As a volunteer in the Zandvlei Nature Reserve in Cape Town, you can expect a variety of activities related to nature and environmental protection as well as landscape conservation. Your effort contribute to the preservation of a complete wetland habitat including important South African animal and plant species.

A rare opportunity to monitor Africa’s wildlife in one of the largest private Big Five reserves in South Africa. Come face-to-face with elephants, rhinos, lions, and lesser-known species in this vast biodiversity hotspot. You’ll join a team of professional researchers to assist with monitoring and wildlife management, and gain access to areas that tourists can’t see.

Lend a helping hand to orphaned rhinos at South Africa’s oldest dedicated rhino orphanage. Your days will be filled with bottle-feeding calves, providing essential care, and monitoring released adult rhinos in a stunning private reserve. Living alongside a team of rhino experts within a UNESCO World Heritage site, this project will help you reconnect with nature and change rhinos’ lives.
