From grassroots development to top-level competitions, the 'Sport for all' programme is exciting, varied and offers you numerous opportunities to get involved.

Your main responsibility will be to assist in planning and implementing sports programmes for children and young people in handball, basketball, volleyball and dodgeball, depending on your sporting skills. Having knowledge of the creation and realisation of training units is helpful. You will also help organise regular tournaments with flexible schedules.

Your input on sport and educational programmes for young people will be extremely valuable to the youth leaders. Depending on your qualifications and interests, you can also help with languages and sciences lessons in a school context beyond sport.

Typical tasks:

  • Coaching in your sport: You will assist with or lead your own training sessions with children and young people in schools and extracurricular activities.
  • Tournaments and events: e.g. organising, setting up and dismantling, creating schedules, and providing equipment.
  • Public relations, sponsorship and marketing: You help draw attention to and promote upcoming events (including on social media), as well as providing input on fundraising and sponsor activation.
  • Networking: Get fans and spectators excited about the sport, get in touch with players, coaches, officials and other volunteers, and forge new relationships.

You have the flexible option of assisting with teaching at a local primary or secondary school, and helping with further education for teachers. The level of your involvement will depend on your personal skills and may include teaching English, providing conversation training, collaborating on the development of curricula and/or teaching activities, and teaching life skills.

Depending on your interests and schedule, help with the planning and realisation of coaching workshops in various sports is welcome. You may also have the opportunity to take part in sports training sessions at other locations, or to assist with the vocational training and further education of the parents of the children and young people involved in the project.

Does that sound exciting? Support our partner project by volunteering as a coach, make a sustainable impression and create unforgettable memories.

L’organisation de volontariat se présente

We unite people through sports and place volunteer coaches in social sports projects that match their personal sporting skills. Right after school, after vocational training, during your studies or as a sabbatical in your professional life.

We place you in reliable, audited sports projects at fair conditions with a minimum stay of 2 months. Because we are not just about charity, but above all about the sustainable development of social projects in disadvantaged communities. Our aim is to support community projects by providing qualified and meaningful volunteer work. Whether established initiatives or innovative ideas from local changemakers: your expertise will help to develop sport locally effectively.

We are not a click-and-travel service; our job is to find the perfect match. We consider your skills and talents as a volunteer, as well as the specific requirements of each project. We use questionnaires and online interviews to ensure that both sides benefit as much as possible.

Do you have sporting experience as a player or coach in the desired area and are you passionate about your discipline? Are you flexible and resourceful in dealing with sporting challenges? Can you work effectively both independently and as part of a team, are you organised and responsible?

We offer you projects where you can put your skills and knowledge to good use. Experience directly on site in South Africa, Kenya or Tanzania how you can support and build sustainable sports development for children and young people.
