Support an environmental project in Arusha, Tanzania

The working hours are usually from Monday to Friday from 9am in the morning until to 3 pm in the afternoon. The project can be reached by public transport from the volunteer accommodation.

Like everywhere else in the world, the eastern Africa and also Tanzania is affected by the impacts of climate change.
Deforestation of centuries-old forests to make room for agriculture, lack of rainy seasons and massive pollution due to lack of waste disposal facilities are just a few of the problems people in Tanzania have to deal with.
In 2006, a young Tanzanian woman started an environmental project under the motto "Conserve your Environment to Conserve You!

You can get involved in this project in many different ways: planting seedlings and trees, teaching about the effects and important of environmental protection in schools, awareness campaigns for the population and fundraising. You can also help to plant avocado trees with local farmers to help them with their business, which supports them and their families. There are no limits to your imagination.
