Project 1: Elephant Sanctuary (Thailand) – This project takes care of elephants that have been rescued for a variety of reasons. Here they find a place to live appropriate for their species and in peace. Unfortunately the number of wild elephants dropped from 100.000 one hundred years ago to a maximum of only 5000 living in the wild today. Besides this number more than 4000 registered animals are working under cruel conditions in the tourism and entertainment industry. In this project they find a safe place and educational work to raise public awareness is being conducted. Also some rescued dogs and cats find a sanctuary in this place.

Project 2: House building project for homeless families (Cambodia). This project truly is unbelievable. Within only 1 week it is possible to build a house for a whole family as a volunteering group. Moving in this house the family has the chance to be protected from harsh weather conditions, prevents illnesses so children can go to school, parents can go to work and a safe space in general to live in peace and dignity. You will see what you have worked on at the end of the week and truly say you helped improving a families life significantly.

Our programs are set up in a way that you support important projects on the one hand side and also get to know the countries you are in. You will see Bangkok and Chiang Mai in Thailand, go on one of its beautiful islands and the surrounding jungle. In Cambodia we take you to increadible Angkor Wat and the Killing Fields to learn more about the history. For more detailled info we are happy to send more information.

Qualifications particulières :

You should be interested in caring for animals and humans, like to discover new countries, be open to new cultures and ways of living and like to be active! We need volunteers who have empathy and like to get work done during the project phases.

Hébergement & repas :

Accommodation: Hostel or Project housing, simple but comfortable. Meals: 3 a day is inclusive - sometimes local, sometimes western cuisine. During project phases it will be cooked for you, during travel either we cook together or we go to restaurants and cafes together.
