The southern west coast of Costa Rica is an almost untouched wonder. Wide palm beaches alternate with large wetlands that stretch for miles across the region. In this project, you will support a research station that cares for the crocodiles, turtles, mammals, and birds that call this place home.

Calling all ocean lovers! Join one of our teams on the beautiful Pacific coast of Costa Rica and gain internationally recognised scuba diving qualifications and marine science training. This exclusive 10-week course trains you up to become a PADI Divemaster with a focus on marine conservation. You will also take part in the ongoing reef surveys which help to monitor the health of the ocean.

Join an active conservation research centre to support their work in researching and conserving amazing local wildlife, including endangered sea turtles. During turtle season you will help monitor and protect nesting sea turtles and release hatchlings into the Pacific Ocean. Throughout the year there are several active scientific research projects to immerse yourself in Costa Rica’s wildlife.

Become a Marine Conservation Volunteer in Costa Rica, with full training included. Learn to scuba dive in one of the world’s most stunning settings and volunteer at our Sea Turtle conservation project! End your journey gaining internationally recognised PADI Dive qualifications on the stunning Pacific coast! Additionally to that we go for one week into the jungle with you!

Located on a remote Costa Rican beach, far from tourists and development, this turtle conservation project combines experiencing life on the Pacific coast with helping to protect an endangered species. Track nesting turtles, protect their eggs, release their babies safely back to sea and help to promote conservation in this rural area.
