Various Irish non-profit organizations offer remote internships. We can find a suitable internship for you. The duration of the internship is possible starting from 4 weeks and there are part-time (e.g. 10 hours / week or full-time positions). The fields of activity are usually from the areas of public relations/marketing/media, creation of specialised content related to your studies/interests, administration and online teaching (e.g. environmental education, school). You will always have a professionally qualified internship supervisor.

Examples of remote internships for non-profit organizations:

Creation of awareness-raising and educational content: NGO Drug and alcohol rehabilitation in Dublin

You will write new content and edit existing texts that will be used for awareness raising on the subject of addiction problems, together with team members of the NGO. You will also prepare content about the same topic for meetings and training seminars and support the volunteer facilitators in obtaining the appropriate profesional content from the NGO.

Similar activities are possible for other NGOs on topics of social work or environmental protection.

Online teaching: NGO for youth empowerment and environmental protection

As a remote intern, you will conduct online workshops for young people on environmental protection and sustainable development. You will develop the content of these workshops, which are offered as live online sessions together with the Irish team of the NGO. The sessions cover topics such as climate change, environmental protection and sustainability. You can also conduct such workshops live yourself or assist other team members.

Teaching online is also possible, for example for afterschool care clubs reaching children and youth.

Public Relations / Media / Marketing / Administration:

You would create content (write texts, edit images and videos) about the work of an NGO that can be used on the organization's website, press releases and social media. You can also get involved in web design, for intance improving the functionality and design of the website, and edit and layout web content. Some organizations also offer administrative internships.
