    Schutzprojekt "Meeresschildkröte"

First Project: Sea Turtle Conservation Program (Costa Rica) -
The sea turtle belongs to the endangered animals and therefore needs to be protected. It plays a vital role in the marine environment and you will accompany and support scientific assistants in their work. You help doing beach clean up`s, look for turtle eggs to bring them to a breeding station and help writing protocols. This project is based in pure nature outside of any big cities around you. Just you, your team and pristine nature! (Please note: If you join the project outside turtle breeding season you take part in further animal protection programs, e.g. for seaside birds or a number of land mammals incl. big cats!)

Second project „Community Support Project“ (Nicaragua) –
In the morning you will improve your Spanish skills with native, local speakers and adjusted to your previous knowledge. You learn surrounded by the most wonderful nature like coffee plants, banana trees and flower gardens! After an authentic, local lunch you support the community in the afternoon. Your work here depends on the current needs they have and for which they don`t have enough capacities to fulfil them. Things you do here might be supporting reforestation efforts, teaching children, repair work at community facilities, rehoming abandoned cats, etc.

Third project „Humanitarian Eco-Tourism“ (Nicaragua) -
In this project you head over to another local community who tries to improve their life standard by developing their tourism potential in a sustainable and eco-friendly way. This should lead then to a better future for everyone living there. You will be staying in an Eco-Lodge there for this time and can, after your work over the day is done, relax in hammocks in the evening or try to set up a yoga lesson e.g. in the evenings on the beach!

The duration of each project is ca. 1 week each and during the other weeks you will discover the countries in various ways! In Costa Rica e.g. we go deep into the rainforest and do a basic jungle training, we spend an adventure week in Monteverde and see the Island "La Fortuna"! In Nicaragua we will spend time on the beach in San Juan del Sur and trek the island de Ometepe on Lake Nicaragua. Just contact us for more detailed info of the whole program!
