Permaculture advocates agricultural methods that work within the natural structure and cycle of the soil, water sources, and animal and plant life, so as not to damage the earth, either now or in future generations. Among the central principles of permaculture are working with lunar cycles; composting and worm breeding; use of mulch and natural insecticides and pesticides; and alternative energy sources.
This 4-week intensive course offers you the opportunity to learn all these methods and more in a program with theoretical and practical modules. The course provider hopes to unleash a new generation of sustainably-thinking people in the world who have the skills and abilities to spread the ideals and practices of permaculture around the world and begin the necessary changes to make our planet healthy again.
